Announcing The Big Event Speaker Sessions for 2023

Taking place across both days at the NEC this May, we’re excited to announce our packed 2023 speaker line up.

Motability Scheme experts will be providing latest car news, plus electric vehicle and home charging myth busting talks. There’ll also be specialist sessions on Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, adaptations and grants, to help you understand the range of mobility solutions on offer through the Scheme.

Special guest speakers not to be missed include…

Mark Ormrod, MBE, Motability Scheme customer, ex Royal Marine and Invictus game champion will be sharing his dramatic story of recovery from war injury through to successful Invictus Games athlete and motivational speaker.

British Wheelchair Basketball’s new CEO, Justine Baynes will be sharing what it takes to prepare the GB Wheelchair Basketball teams for back-to-back international competition, and how the BWB ‘Inspire a generation’ programme is helping more people to play wheelchair basketball across the UK.  

Are you a fan of Dragons’ Den? If you are, you might recognise Dragons’ Den internet stars Matthew and Cristian from Adapt Ability, who recently won the Dragons over to secure support for their life changing Omeo product – tune in for this talk to hear the full story of what its like to face the dragons and win!
